Chopped liver style chef Shaul Ben Aderet.
The recipe was given to me by Shaul as a part of a food article to a Finnish magazine but was dropped out from the article.
So for those of you who fancy liver, here it is:
- 1/2 kg livers (chicken or beef)
- 1 medium-size eggplant, cut to cubes
- 3 medium-size onions, chopped
- 4 cooked eggs
- 4-6 tbsp quality olive oil
- Salt & ground pepper
On a frying pan, fry the chopped onions with 1-2 tbsp olive oil till brown.
Fry the livers with 1-2 tbsp olive oil, spice them with salt & pepper and put aside with the onions.
Fry the eggplant cubes with 1-2 tbsp olive oil, till brown.
Place all ingredients, including the eggs and roughly chop with a sharp knife.
Mix well and add salt & pepper if needed.
